Electrical Installation

Electrical Installation courses are designed for those who wish to pursue a career as an electrician or as stepping stones to progress onto Level 3 provision within Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Electrician’s tend to hone their practical skills on site by installing, testing, commissioning and repairing electrical installations found in homes and businesses. Electricians work domestically, commercially and industrially including the fitting of consumer units, distribution boards and circuit breakers, connecting electrical conductors to socket outlets, switches and luminaires and the installation of fire alarm systems. Electrical installation electricians follow architects or contractors plans and drawings to install new electrical wiring systems and associated equipment.
